The students showed
tremendous enthusiasm to know more about the famous astronomers by
reading books and by seeing videos on you tube. The students were
divided in groups and they did guided research on famous astronomers and
scientists who unravel many mysteries in the space. Few
astronomers that the students researched on were – Sally Ride, John
Glenn, Rakesh Sharma, Kalpana Chawla, Neil Armstrong, Galileo Galilee ,
Copernicus, Sir Isaac Newton etc.
